I would like to use the Surname research to srart with. My gggg grandfather Allen Jones born abt 1809 in Queen Anne's County, MD according to the book 'LABORERS IN THE VINEYARD OF THE LORD by Rivers and Brown. Therefore, I am trying to locate any information I can about him. And, I will also be using the Church History Books resources as well since it is stated in the same book tha he was an A.M.E. Minister in Gadsden, Quincy, FL durinf the Reconstruction Era. I need to determine how to uses these resources. Thank you for any assistance you can give me.

Hi! I'm in the process of doing some research for New Bethel AME at Quincy and came across your website. I'd be happy to share with you whatever I have on Allen Jones. Could you let me know what you might be interested in. My research is limited pretty much to Florida. Merry Christmas! Canter
