There were two A.ME, Churches in Queen Anne's County. Johnson's A.M.E, in Price and Wesley known as Wesley United Methodist Church. Johnson's church is being used as a residence now. However, Wesley is still being used by the community today. Wesley did have church records as of 2009.
The best thing to do is to call before you visit. I conducted an oral interview with a Jones Family member and he had a lot to say. He was 103 last year. As far as I know he's still alive but hard of hearing. Call the church or send a short letter asking the church to conduct a research, Send a monetary "Love Donation"

My gggg grandfather Allen Jones born abt 1809 in Queen Anne's County, MD according to the book 'LABORERS IN THE VINEYARD OF THE LORD by Rivers and Brown.
